Global rules

1. Nothing illegal. Do not post, request or link to anything that violates United States law or the law of your country. This includes, without exception, any sexual content involving minors - such content is reported to the authorities.
2. You must be 18 or older to post on 3chan.
3. No spam, flooding, advertising, or begging. No bots or automated posting.
4. Do not post other people's personal information, and do not organize or call for harassment, violence, or raids against anyone.
5. No malware, phishing links, or scams.
6. Keep each board on topic. Off-topic threads belong on /r/.
7. NSFW images are not allowed outside of /r/, and must never be posted as a thread image.
8. Do not evade bans. Ban evasion resets and extends the ban.
9. Moderators may remove any content and ban any poster at their discretion to keep the site healthy.

Board guidelines

1. /t/ Technology - discussion of technology. No tech support begging without effort; post what you've tried.
2. /am/ Anime & Manga - spoiler-tag recent releases with [spoiler] tags.
3. /vg/ Video Games - one thread per game/topic; check the catalog before making a new thread.
4. /ad/ Animation & Drawing - post your own work or works-in-progress; constructive critique only.
5. /r/ Random - the rules above still apply. "Random" is not "lawless".

Reporting

See something that breaks the rules? Click the small [!] link on any post to report it. Reports go straight to the moderation team. Do not reply to rule-breaking posts - report and move on.

Privacy

No account or e-mail is required to post. The server stores the IP address attached to each post for moderation and anti-spam purposes only; it is visible to site staff and to nobody else. Posts and reports are checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, an invisible, privacy-preserving bot check; data handled by Turnstile is processed by Cloudflare in accordance with the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum. A small cookie remembers your name field and deletion password; it stays in your browser.
